The last pictures of Sicily and pictures of Sorrento and Capri and back to Rome
The pictures above are from the Greek Theather This last picture is a view from the upper gallery
This is a picture of Mt. Etna
a overall view of the Greek Theater. The bottom 2 pictures are of the countryside near Mt Edna
These next pictures are of a wine tour and farmhouse dinner near Mt. Etna
After the wine tour they gave us samples of the wine, cheese and sausage. Then we had a scrumptious dinner
Starting with the above picture. This is the elevator or incline that went up the hill and down the hill of which our Hotel stood. This is in the Taormina Area
This boat took us back to the main part of Sicily This took us cross the strait of Messina to land at the toe of the Italian boot in Calabria.. From there we went to the lovely town of Sorrento.
The nest set of pictures are of the Island of Capri. More popular and famous than Venice. I thought Venice was the Creme de la Creme until I was Capri.
These next pictures is of a little boat ride we took around the island of Capri
Here is the harbor that we left to go back to Sorrento. The next pictures are of the Amalfi Coast which is suppose to be the most beautiful road in the world.
After the Almalfi Coast and a visit to Politano we returned to Rome for a delicious farewell dinner. These are many of the wonderful people whom were on this tour. I made many friends.
Before the night was over our bus driver took us on an illumination tour of Rome. This is a picture of St. Peters lite up at night.
